Friendship Highway

The highest road in the world, the Friendship Highway links Lhasa in Tibet with Kathmandu in Nepal. Taken at 4,540m up in early February, my Suunto watch recorded -21C before it stopped working but the view was just too amazing to pass up.

I took this photograph of Johnny McDaid during a private gig for the launch of Snow Patrol's Wildness at the Islington Assembly Hall in London. I love this photo because he looks as if he posed for a portrait rather than putting everything in to a song.
